Product Description

More info about "Robustas"

Clivia Robusta sometimes called the swamp clivia was originally thought to be a member of the Gardenii species.
Many years of morphological study by biologists finalized the re-naming of the Robusta as its own species.
It is the largest Clivia often standing about  4 feet. The plant also when mature has a high  berry count that mature in the typical 8-9 months.
More interesting the "swamp clivia" adds support to itself when grown in wet areas by producing aerial roots called prop roots.
The flower is a large pendulous one that can be seen in our pictures and in "Clivias Nature and Nurture" on Page 69.
These are 1 to 2 leaf plants around 6-10" tall+.
